Flying to Darwin

Arranging the flight from Amsterdam to Darwin took some research. Ultimately we opted for a flight from Amsterdam via Hong Kong to Perth and from there back to Darwin. Sounds a bit crazy, but in the end it was cheaper than flying directly to Darwin. With Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong where I arrive at 7 am and leave again at 11 pm. Arrival in Perth around 6am and then in Darwin around noon.
Long flight but a day in Hong Kong so I can stretch my legs.

APOLLO

Vervoer ter plekke

Rented from Apollo in the past and always liked it.
It will be a 4WD Trailfinder with a lifting roof. In principle suitable for 2 people, but I'm only on my own so it should be big enough.
The costs were a bit disappointing, but inquiries from other rental companies taught me that renting such a real 4WD is simply a costly affair.
But during the trip there are really parts where I can't do without it.

DOCUMENTATION

Reisgidsen in zo

I want to avoid at all costs that I return to the Netherlands and discover that I have been close to something very beautiful but did not know it.
It is impossible to see everything, but the various travel guides at least give me the opportunity to make an informed choice.
The Kimberley Pocket Guide by Birgitte Bradtke is a very good help and the internet is of course indispensable.
